Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop a vibrant, independent, and externally-funded research program with a record of refereed publications in high quality journals; contribute strongly to research; be encouraged to collaborate with faculty across many disciplines at the University; mentor and support graduate students; integrate undergraduates into research; and teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Service to the university, community, and profession is expected.

Required Qualifications

Candidates working across all scales of biological organization are encouraged to apply. The department is particularly interested to add faculty who can integrate across current strengths in vertebrate physiology, aquatic ecology, molecular and cell biology, and global health. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in a biologically-related discipline (in hand at appointment start date) and will have a competitive research record.
