Position Summary

The Department of Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery/Physician Surgeon to assist with patient care and treatment in the area of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Duties & Responsibilities

Full spectrum of operative, non-operative and colon/rectum disease management of surgery patients. Teaching medical students, residents and colon & rectal fellows.

Participate in research projects/activities. Perform administrative duties as assigned. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• MD Degree

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery

• Eligible to acquire an Illinois Medical License
