Job Description:
Curry College School of Nursing is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2023. The faculty must be able to teach a variety of didactic and simulation lab courses to primarily prelicensure baccalaureate students with options to teach courses in the RN to BS and MSN programs. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach medical surgical courses, pediatrics, and/or has experience with simulation.
The Assistant Professor's responsibilities will include teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online didactic courses as needed. Additionally, the Assistant Professor is expected to adhere to College expectations for teaching, service, and scholarship consistent with the rank of Assistant Professor.
Candidates must have current knowledge and experience of standards and practices involving simulation pedagogy and teaching online; Knowledge and ability to lead organizational change; Experience in leading projects; Current knowledge of clinical nursing care; Strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to work with diverse learners; Ability to work with new technology and software; and Strong organizational skills.
