As the Assistant Production Manager, you will provide analytical support to Production Management that will help facilitate continuous cost reduction and process improvement efforts at the plant level, using computer based technologies, statistical techniques, data analysis, and Nestle Industrial Performance tools. Your recommendations will impact efficiency, cost reduction, and waste reduction throughout the plant.
Responsible for the operation of all manufactured products, as well as managing safety, quality, and productivity across teams
Motivate and coach production team to attain high levels of performance
Work with plant manager to identify cost saving initiatives
Responsible to properly train all employees in areas of responsibility, which should include cross training within the departments
Coordinate all activities with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to ensure that all goals are achieved
Perform all duties in a safe manner, upholding safety standards across your team
Be fully involved and actively participate in all Nestle Purina Programs and Initiatives
Perform all job duties as required.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering field
Experience: 2+ years experience in manufacturing, factory, or plant leadership
1+ years experience implementing continuous improvement projects or lean initiatives
