Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree or higher in field of education

Hold or be eligible for GaPSC certification in Educational Leadership

Successful experience as a classroom teacher, preferably at the middle grades level

Preferred Qualifications

Current Leadership Certification

Experience in leadership at the building or similar level

Experience with developing and implementing building level Professional Learning

Understanding of student and teacher scheduling methods

Knowledge of effective instructional practices to support student learning

Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

Knowledge of standardized tests and how to plan and administer these assessments

Ability to appropriately identify, analyze, and utilize data to support student and teacher growth and achievement

Familiarity with Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

Employment Terms:

210 day work calendar

Annual Salary based on certification level and years of creditable experience

Annual Salary Range: $83,509 - $106,580
