Qualifications:

• North Carolina School Administrator Principal's License

• Minimum of five years of cumulative successful experience in classroom teaching and administration preferred

• Interest in and working knowledge of curriculum and co-curricular activities

• Effective oral and written communication and human relation skills

• Knowledge of leadership skills in improvement instruction and student achievement

• Good judgment and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of uses of computer programs and procedures

• Ability to lead a diverse and involved faculty

• Commitment to excellence in education for all students

• Knowledge of Every Child Succeeds Act

• Knowledge and competence with and administering the North Carolina Ready Accountability Model

• Competence with Teacher Performance Appraisal (TPAI)

• Competence with North Carolina Educator Effectiveness System

• Other duties as assigned by Superintendent, Principal or Designee

• NC-CDL Bus License with passenger endorsements, or eligible to obtain a NC-CDL, preferred
