• Professional Educators License with General Administrative Endorsements

• Superior communication and leadership skills required

• Assists the principal in the general administration of the school and serves as principal when the principal is absent.

• Assists the principal in the supervision and improvement of classroom instruction

• Must demonstrate effectiveness in increasing student achievement and collaborative leadership

• Strong knowledge and understanding of multi-tiered systems of support

• Must demonstrate interpersonal, organizational, and management skills needed to effectively solve problems, to lead and inspire excellence in students and engaged teaching among faculty

• Must demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based upon careful research and analysis from all relevant sources

• Must demonstrate approachability, accessibility, compassion, understanding, and the ability to maintain an established partnership with faculty, staff, students, and parents

• Must provide creative, innovative, and effective approaches to address and support the building's needs as Assistant Principal

• Coordinate parent and community communications/contact and function as parent liaison

• Highly organized and able to work independently and with minimum supervision

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

• Full-Time, 12-Month Position

• Effective for the 2024-2025 school year

• Salary commensurate experience
