Assistant Principal

Duties

Have a commitment to establishing a child-centered learning environment. Work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers and administrative team members.

Maintain and promote a positive school climate. Work with others, help them grow as individuals and professionals and motivate them to work as a team toward organizational goals. Have experience in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.

Contribute to the selection, supervision and evaluation of quality staff members in concert with the principal and other members of the administrative council. Must hold attributes of integrity, courage, warmth, self-confidence, stability under pressure, flexibility and good judgment.

Qualifications

a) Valid Illinois Administrative Certificate

b) Successful teaching and administrative experience required

c) Appropriate Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree required
