El Segundo Unified School District is seeking an accomplished Assistant Principal for our Elementary School whose qualifications include: • Experience and knowledge in inquiry based instruction and deep understanding of workshop pedagogy for Cognitively Guided Instruction in Mathematics (CGI), Readers, and Writers Workshop. • Experience with facilitating 504 meetings, IEPs, and SSTs • Detail-oriented and self-motivated/self-starter • Ability to implement organizational systems El Segundo Unified School District is a K-12 school district, serving approximately 3,500 students across six schools (one preschool, two elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and one alternative program). The District is located in a small coastal community of approximately 16,000 residents.
