POSITION: Assistant Portfolio Manager (Full Time, Exempt)

DIRECT REPORT: Portfolio Manager


As Assistant Portfolio Manager, you are primarily responsible for assisting in the oversight of on-site operations from the corporate level across the western region portfolio of remote residential student housing communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)
1.Assist Portfolio Manager (PM) in maintaining all operational community information: vendor contacts, employee rosters, budgets, marketing strategy, etc. on a weekly and monthly basis.
2.Serve as a supplemental point of contact between the PM, Cardinal HQ and the on-site teams.
3.Assist in the preparation and interpretation of reports necessary for auditing community performance.
4.Provide supplemental support, as directed by PM, to the Community Managers to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed according to best practice.
5.Contribute to capital improvement planning and execution of projects as needed.
6.Participate in Cardinal U training as required.

COMPENSATION: Biweekly, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility

The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver office products and supplies of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Routine, local travel is required to attend training classes, client visits, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Overnight travel is required to attend company functions, training, property visits, and other situations necessary for the accomplishment of special projects that may be assigned from time to time.

The PMO provides project management services that support DOR's strategic objectives, business needs, legal mandates and regulatory requirements. The PMO services all DOR divisions and offices, including Enforcement, Lottery, Motor Vehicles, Taxation, the Administrative Office Division, and the Executive Director's Office. Primary responsibilities of the PMO include: As Program Portfolio Manager (Program Manager III), this position will manage all aspects of assigned projects and program portfolio according to PMI based standards and best practices, and using standard DOR PMO templates, tools and processes. This position may also provide project support for enterprise, facilities, and business process improvement projects, and contribute to ongoing PMO development. As the Program Portfolio Manager (Program Manager II), this position will be responsible for the following: PROGRAM & PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT * Manages DOR projects end to end from initiation to closing according to PMI based standards and best practices, and using standard DOR PMO templates, tools and processes. * Maintains the organization, oversight and reporting of all projects within the division program as well as outside projects with potential impacts on the portfolio. * Manages cross functional teams with division managers to ensure project resource has adequate time dedicated to project. * Provides budgets and contract input to division level stakeholders. * Adapts to changing business needs and priorities.
