Assistant Pm/Training Officer

Overview

Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for an Assistant Project Manager/Training Officer to assist in the training and oversight for the Plum Island Animal Disease Center.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant PM/Training Officer is accountable for assisting in the timeliness, accuracy, and proficiency of contract-related recordkeeping responsibilities.

• Responsible for assisting in implementing the Contractor's quality control plan and ensuring that the Contractor's workforce complies with the contract requirements.

• Responsible for supervision of assigned personnel.

• Responsible for assisting in maintaining staffing levels and uninterrupted post coverage.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship

• Valid state driver's license

• Associate degree in criminal justice or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of continuous supervisory experience.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a BSL-3 Biocontainment Laboratory Environment

• ICS 300 Certification

• Must be certified as an NRA Firearm Instructor, Red Cross CPR, and AED Instructor

• Current New York State Armed Guard License.

• Meet all Weapons Training and Qualification requirements under this contract.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

• Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.

• Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
