Assistant Plant Manager - Tennessee Battery Plant
The Assistant Plant Manager (LL4) position at BlueOval City in Stanton, Tennessee will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from ground up.
The BlueOval SK Assistant Plant Manager will build and lead world class manufacturing Team of Area Managers within the battery site. Responsible for building the team and creating the processes and systems to meet the production forecast and ensure that company goals are achieved while ensuring internal stability by focusing on inputs and process confirmation. She/He will need to interact with wide range of stakeholders, including all plant personnel, Ford & SK leadership, local community officials, and media.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn Battery Manufacturing and be accountable for production output, product quality and on-time delivery while minimizing unnecessary costs
Help develop and implement the BOSK Production operating systems, consistent with Ford and SK best practices
Resource allocation and fully utilize assets
Commit to plant safety and ensure processes and systems are compliant on all shifts
Maintain high product quality and manufacturing yield
Conduct analysis and prepare reports on projects and process improvements
Be a role model in driving Culture and DEI - Help develop initiatives that drive a positive People experience that's sensitive across multiple cultures
