Reporting to

• Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial accounting team at the plant

• Assist with month closing, performing journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with annual assets audit

• Lead the cattle procurement accounting team

• Assist with weekly expenses reporting

• Assist with weekly P&L reporting

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to SOX and internal policies

• Develop and train team members

• Other accounting duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 years of accounting experience

• Computer skills

• People and leadership skills

• Strong management and prioritizations skills

• Prior meat cost accounting experience desired

• Through knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
