Assistant Pinsetter Mechanic

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Assistant Pinsetter Mechanic will perform maintenance and repair of automatic pinsetting bowling machines.

CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

• · Assists in the adjustment and repair of automatic pinsetting bowling machines, following maintenance manuals and schematics using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• · Observes operation of machine to determine nature and cause of malfunction.
• · Performs test relays, solenoids, transformers, electric motors and wiring for defects using continuity tester, ammeter and voltmeter.
• · Assists with disassembling and replacing or repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring.
• · Cleans and lubricates machine.
• · Maintains and repairs automatic lane conditioning machine.
• · Orders and maintains lighting throughout bowling center.
• · Maintains perpetual inventory of and orders replacements for spare parts.
• · Cleans restrooms, which includes taking out the trash, cleaning the mirrors and floors, wiping down the sink, and etc.
• · Stays current on various casino and VOC events and promotions in order to respond to customer inquiries.
• · Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
• · Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
• · Performs all related and compatible duties as assigned.

Required Skills

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

• Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment

• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals and schematics

• Must be flexible to work different shifts and days of the week including holidays

Required Experience

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing bowling and pinsetter equipment.
