Limestone University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology on our main campus in Gaffney, SC. Position will begin in August 2024 (review of applications will begin January 15, 2024). Candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology, teaching experience, and skills with engaging undergraduate students in the science of psychology are encouraged to apply.
ABD candidates will also be considered. The position requires the teaching of four courses per semester. In addition to teaching Introduction to Psychology and Research Methods & Statistics, candidates should have the interest and ability to teach some of the following courses:
Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, Psychology of Personality, and/or counseling courses. There may also be opportunities for the successful candidate to teach special topics courses in their area of expertise. Service to the University and Department of Behavioral Science is also required.
