The Assistant Operations Manager
Duties include but are not limited to:
Interact with guests upon arrival to F&B Operations
Respond to guest concerns
Direct, support and oversee development of Food & Beverage colleagues
Administrative support - assist with payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget, etc.
Coordinate tasks and projects with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
Exercise quality control for Food & Beverage
Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation
Perform daily tasks including completing checklists, projects, etc.
Assist with hiring, training, empowering, coaching and counseling colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual Spanish is helpful)
Experience and thorough understanding of Food & Beverage operations and guest services
Previous Leadership experience in Food & Beverage, including cost control (2 years preferred)
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
Knowledge and experience with Operations systems such as Micros, Simphony, etc.
Flexible schedule and able to work multiple shifts including holidays and weekends
Must be able to support Hyatt's purpose by identifying opportunities to display authentic human care to guests and colleagues so they can be their best.
