Minimum Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Knowledge of pool operations.
CPO Certification
Strong social skills, judgment, teamwork, initiative, organization and cooperativeness.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to motivate and inspire employees
American Red Cross First Aid certified
American Red Cross Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor (Not required initially, but applicant will need to achieve certifications when hired.)
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform.
Establish and clearly communicate procedures and standards by which staff will conduct business. Create excellence for guest and members.
Assist in the interviewing and hiring of new employees in all areas.
Prepare operation and capital budget to match business levels.
Proficient in preparing schedules and maintaining hourly/monthly budgets
Ability to partner with Human Resources with respect to employee issues
Knowledgeable about training procedures, ability to modify as needed in conjunction with Learning specialist.
Oversee Aquatic Supervisor, Beach Services Supervisors, Waterfront Steward Supervisor, Beach Club Receptionist Supervisor, and Locker Room attendants.
Must have a positive "can do attitude"
Must have professional people skills
Must believe in the goals and mission statement of Sea Island
Knowledge of all facets of Supervisors job requirements.
Oversee All Outlying pool operations as defined in basic Job Functions.
Heavily focused on cleanliness and water balancing of all aquatic facilities in proximity to the beach club.
Enforce all beach club policies, rules, and regulations.
Oversee cleaning and maintenance duties on the pool decks, beach, and beach club.
Oversee services such as erecting umbrellas, serving towels, and moving beach chaise lounges for guests and members.
Ability to delegate job responsibilities and follow up.
Work cross-departmentally with others to ensure events get set up and run properly.
Provide assistance to Sea Island members and guests with concern to the Beach Club facility as well as other events taking place with
Sea Island
