The Assistant Operations Manager is tasked with working directly with supervisors and frontline staff to ensure all products are accurately evaluated, processed, and allocated to the correct distribution channels while maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

This position is designed for someone with a robust background in operations management and process improvement, keen on driving quality and efficiency in a collaborative work environment. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment, all new hires are required to undergo a background check and drug screening prior to their start date. Our active warehouse setting presents inherent risks such as equipment operation, material handling, and the need for constant vigilance to prevent accidents.

At Human-I-T, our work environment is dynamic and mission-driven, focused on creating equitable access to opportunities through technology. Our culture is creative, innovative, and collaborative, where continuous improvement and audacious ideas are valued and appreciated. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds because we believe diverse perspectives create an environment where the best ideas rise to the top.

  • Recover Value:

  • Regularly review and spot check e-waste sorting bins to ensure accurate waste separation, minimizing unnecessary disposal and maximizing recovery of items.

  • Validate the accuracy of the e-waste ratio documented at every step of the ITAD workflow, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

  • Troubleshooting and Training:

  • Address and resolve quality issues, coach, advise, train, and retrain staff on correct operational processes to ensure consistency across all operations.

  • Collaborate with supervisors to address specific area needs or projects and consult with technical specialists to resolve complex problems.

  • Quality Control:

  • Conduct randomized sampling and targeted inquiries to validate decision-making and ensure products meet quality standards.

  • Investigate customer complaints and incident reports to maintain product integrity and recommend process improvements.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with health and safety policies.

  • Conduct monthly facility hazard inspections and operational efficiency audits, ensuring all processes adhere to NAID AAA and ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001.
