Expro is currently recruiting for an Assistant Operations Engineer to join the Well Testing & Commissioning team based in Mont Belvieu, Texas.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Support the Operations and Sales Team(s) with quality, process-driven, and engineered project and job solutions that take into account multiple constraints including: fluid flow, environmental, safety, operational, budgetary, policy, and regulatory.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Under supervision, plan, organise, coordinate and control projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems and requirements approved by the company.
• Under supervision, develop cost effective solutions, evaluate alternatives and collaborate with client to confirm requirements and ensure acceptance.
• Evaluate, update, and create written procedures, for approval, for Expro personnel for equipment operation and maintenance, as well as field job specific tasks, complying with existing Expro procedures and industry standards.
• Provide input during project acquisition.
• Liaise with the team members, internal / external parties as required to ensure discussion takes place achieving effective communication to achieve task completion as per plan and budget.
• Design, evaluate, and submit for approval equipment changes, enhancements, and improvements according to applicable Expro, ASME, and ANSI standards.
• Under supervision, actively participate in field and shop work, as directed, to gain experience regarding both Expro Midstream and customer operational realities and challenges.
• Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure other employees are aware of Expro's compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
• Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable quality policies, procedures, processes & systems.
• Take an active part in quality improvement processes.
• Report deficiencies and suggest for approval alternate deviations from standard procedures as appropriate.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering. Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word).
• Experience with Autodesk or similar (AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Intermittent travel within the US required. Opportunities for international travel may arise.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background check, hair and urine drug and alcohol test and mechanical aptitude test.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT medical physical.
