Front Desk position that provides clerical and administrative support by greeting and directing guests, answering telephones, processing data and maintaining records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers central telephone system and direct calls accordingly.
Properly greets and handles visitors with a smile and directs them to the appropriate person or department.
Adheres to established security policies and procedures with regard to arriving and departing visitors, contractors, delivery persons, etc..
Enters service calls into dispatch system, takes messages or transfers calls with accuracy, and appropriately handles or refers questions and requests.
Opens incoming correspondence and determines the appropriate course of action and priority.
Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
Assist the Accounting Department with tracking or payment of expenses and other spreadsheet work as needed.
Operates office machines.
Duplicates and distributes materials.
Maintains an accurate, complete filing system to facilitate immediate retrieval of any required documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
