Baptist Health is looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to add to our Operating Room at our Baptist South location. This is a Full-Time Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:00 PM evening shift opportunity with a 40 hour per week commitment.

As an ANM in our Operating Room unit you will be responsible for:

• Providing nursing care to patients on the unit

• The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments.

• Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff

• Monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget

• Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews

• Facilitating any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current

• The ability to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulate
