Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center has an open position for a Assistant Director of Nursing.

We are seeking a PHENOMENALAssistant Director of Nursing to assistthe Director of Nursing with services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with company policy and all appropriate regulations.

Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.

Ensure that all nursing personnel are following their respective job descriptions. Participate in developing, maintaining, and periodically updating the written job descriptions for each level of nursing personnel in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.

Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facilitys quality assurance program for the nursing department.

Participate in facility surveys/inspections from regulatory agencies as requested by the administrator or director of nursing.

Participate in developing, implementing, and periodically updating the residents written discharge plan.

A qualified candidate should have two years prior experience in hospital and/or skilled nursing facility. Supervisory experience is a plus.

To do this, they will lead the Provider Scheduling team and training support teams. He or she will be directly responsible for all scheduling and staffing of our MedExpress Urgent Care centers. He or she will be directly responsible for the provider training schedule and management of the provider training support team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Manages the performance of the Scheduling Manager and the scheduling team. * Manages the performance Scribe Program Manager. * Manages the Locum Specialist. * Manages the Training Coordinator. * Mastery of MedExpress Scheduling systems and policies. * Demonstrate understanding of all MedExpress medical policies, procedures, and treatment guidelines. * Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of MedExpress policies and procedures as they pertain to scheduling. * Manages the Scribe Program and reports out on key metrics. * Assist in the development, IAP call schedule and LHI schedules. * Establish a good working relationship with new providers. * Drives the scheduling team to establish strong working relationships with all providers. * Oversight of the hiring and training Provider Schedulers. * Assist with evaluation and implementation of MedExpress scheduling software. * Responsible for maintenance and updating all MedExpress scheduling software. * Works in conjunction with the Provider Staffing Manager in setting the staffing levels for our Urgent Care centers. * Ensure labor model is followed and labor is optimized from a provider perspective. * Responsible for the management of creation and accuracy of the Provider shift reconciliation. * Responsible for creation of the Medical Operations scheduling budget. * Works in conjunction with the Provider Staffing manager to ensure proper recruiting requisitions are open. * Communicates the need for secondary coverage due to volume increase in centers with the Provider Staffing Manager. * Manages the relationships of all locum vendors. * Ensures all vendor invoices are accurate and in compliance with our self-invoicing process. * Ensure maintenance of accurate metrics as required including timely and thorough completion of all necessary program assignments, progress reports and other required documentation. * Responsible for staying current on all ME policy and procedural updates and applying the Medical Operations Department * Partners with the Sr. Director of the Office of Advanced Practitioners on recruiting needs for the centers. Working Relationships: * Reports to the VP of Medical Operations. * Will interact with all employees of the Medical Operations team on a regular basis as well as other cross-functional team-members at the Administrative Offices. * Will coordinate regularly with IT and center management teams. * Will coordinate with senior leadership on scheduling and training. Position Requirements Qualifications: * A bachelors or Master's degree in a relative field recommended. * 5-7 years demonstrated experience managing and leading others. * Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. * Working knowledge in regards to staffing and scheduling in the following: Emergency care, urgent care, and occupational medicine fields; HIPAA, OSHA, HR and billing/coding requirements; state and federal laws governing medical services; and Accreditation Bodies. * Ability to maintain accurate data and statistical information in order to consistently prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence and other written materials. Critical thinking skills a must. * Perform duties in accordance with the customary rules of ethics and conduct of the applicable State Board of Medicine and other such regulating bodies. * Interpret the application of OSHA and HIPAA laws. Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards. * Management experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care and/or ambulatory care setting is preferred. * Preferred 1-4 years of experience in Provider Scheduling and coordination of training schedules and/or management. * Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products required (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). * Knowledge of scheduling software (Kronos, Tangier, etc.). * Valid driver's license from the state of residence required. * Ability to communicate confidently and professionally in both written and oral forms. * Must possess and demonstrate expert knowledge in MedExpress policies, procedures, and culture. Working Conditions: * Non-Center Based. Requires: the ability to sit at a computer for hours at a time (with some bending and stooping) and travel to Centers. * Occasionally work from home when not travelling - must have adequate work space that can be locked, secure, and will not be visible/accessible to anyone in the home. * Platform-Wide travel requirements. * May require an irregular schedule that changes weekly and monthly.
