Job Summary/Description:

WAFB is looking for an Assistant News Director to lead an award-winning team at one of the highest-rated television stations in the country.

The Asst. News Director assists with daily story idea formation, script approval, timesheets, editorial decisions, and breaking news planning and execution.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS experience at a commercial television station

• Ability to work well under pressure

• College graduate. A degree in journalism preferred
