Required Qualifications
Advanced degree: D.O. or M.D.
Certification, professional license, or credential:
DEA Certification or eligibility
New York State License or eligibility.
Board certified in Family/Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
Three to five years of post-doctoral direct clinical experience
At least 1 year of clinical-administrative/leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education health care
Prior experience with Pyramed electronic record
Procedural skills e.g. suturing, incision and drainage, IUD insertions.
Experience in Gender Affirming Care provision
Familiarity with assessment of Eating Disorders
EMS experience
Skills consistent with delivery of high quality primary health care including mental health services
Have an understanding of young adult contemporary healthcare issues and the skills to work effectively with a college-age population, international students, faculty, and staff
Outstanding communications skills, oral, written, and digital including the ability to convey clinical information in accessible terms to diverse audiences
Proven ability to work with a diversity of staff in achieving high quality patient care
High emotional intelligence a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards
Proficiency with electronic medical record applications and office productivity software
Ability to manage and maintain confidential and private information; uses confidential, sensitive and/or private records and information, protects information appropriately
Ability to establish, build and maintain effective working relationships based on respect, empathy and honesty with diverse groups and individuals
Knowledge of Deaf culture, American Sign Language (ASL), or willingness to learn (dual competency, see communication above)

From providing primary care services to overseeing clinical protocols and spearheading quality improvement initiatives, you'll be at the forefront of healthcare innovation. With a robust ethos of continuous improvement, you'll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of care for over 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students, including a significant population from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.
