PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.
Provide leadership and direction in support of Department and Division strategic objectives. Promote policies and programs that ensure outstanding retail availability throughout the PACCAR dealer network.
Identify and implement enhancements to PACCAR's aftermarket supply chain. Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Monitor performance tracking and provide feedback as necessary in pursuit of department objectives.
Oversee and manage internal projects related to system and process improvements to affect improvements in supply chain, productivity and quality.
Lead Program Managers and Analysts to optimize inventory and improve dealer availability at retail.
Act with the Materials Director in development of yearly department and capital budgets.
Develop employees through training, delegation, and employee engagement in strategic initiatives.
Prepare and present regular Retail Market updates to PACCAR Leadership.
Maintain outstanding working relationships and foster a collaborative enviroment with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing.
Skills / Competencies
Inventory control or product distribution experience with an in-depth understanding of inventory management concepts.
Four or more years of managerial experience required.
Knowledge of truck parts, components, and the heavy duty truck market.
Experience managing Capital projects.
Advanced PC skills and ability to understand data from a variety of sources.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and issue resolution skills.
Ability to manage under difficult and stressful situations.
Supply Chain Management or Demand Planning experience.
Strong negotiation skills.
Six Sigma experience.
Bachelors degree in business or related field required Masters Degree is a plus
Supply Chain Management, Inventory control or product distribution experience.
Previous SAP, Manugisitcs, I2 or JDA planning experience HIGHLY desired
Six Sigma Belt training
