Assistant Manager Digital Platforms (website, digital brochures, and virtual reality)

Role Synopsis:

The Assistant Manager (contract) will help to drive the strategy, creative development and production of .com, Digital Brochures and related digital platforms to ensure that our client owned digital properties provide a world-class luxury research, shopping, and brand experience.

This position requires a diverse digital marketing background with digital project management experience working on a high traffic consumer facing website, and a strong understanding of user experience (UX) design. Experience working on automotive brand websites is preferred, especially on one of the client brand websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the digital strategy for client and Digital Brochures, as well as campaign related digital projects.

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day process and timelines with the production and creative agencies to ensure objectives are met.

  • Help to define features and site functionality to best tell the client product story.

  • Ensure strong user experience design (UX) on all deliverables and updates.

  • Help to define Product Backlog and prioritize features and bugs according to business needs.

  • Work closely with marketing colleagues and internal business partners to continually improve the website and drive strong KEAs and KBAs.

  • Be an advocate for the user, initiate industry best practices, usability research and incorporate customer insights and principles throughout the design and development process.

  • Help to lead several external agency teams responsible for executing the digital platform strategy.

  • Manage multiple cross-functional partners within a large organization and effectively collaborate and influence.

  • Regularly review analytics reporting and provide actionable insights.

  • Help drive ongoing site optimization, including A/B testing and Test/Target initiatives.

  • Participate with usability studies, competitive review/audits, and benchmarking studies.

  • Content Strategy and Content Management responsibilities include:

  • Manage the develop of the specific vehicle model overview pages.

  • Manage the development of vehicle digital brochures.

  • Manage the development of virtual reality platform.

  • Oversee the model-year changeover rollout across the website.

  • Manage the content development to support reveal and launch vehicles.

  • Manage website and brochure updates throughout the year.

  • Collaborate on the asset development (including photos and videos) to ensure robust and engaging vehicle and brand content.

  • Manager the development and reviews for the vehicle CGI development.

Qualifications:

  • -Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years digital marketing experience, with knowledge of user experience (UX) design.

  • Previous digital product management experience working on a consumer facing website. Work on an automotive brand or another client brand website is preferred.

  • Experience working with digital content management systems.

  • Experience working directly with technology teams and developers to bring ideas to life.

  • Have the aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and to communicate directly with technical teams & designers.

  • Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and translating user insights into site improvements.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to digest site metrics and turn into recommended actions.

  • Experience leading multiple agency partners and collaborating closely with them to bring your vision to life.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams across a large organization.

  • Demonstrated understanding of digital creative, digital media, and measurement.

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Passion for the digital space with strong knowledge of digital trends and ability to innovate.

  • Capacity to take ownership of tasks and ability to drive them through completion.

  • Experience managing budgets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Automotive and luxury brand experience a plus.
