Your role at Sephora:

As an Assistant Marketing Manager for Broadcast Email, you will responsible for managing Sephora's high-performing email marketing program. You will play a key role in the end-to-end development of client-centric communication concept and lead campaign optimizations using data-driven insights. Reporting to the Manager of Broadcast Email, your role is responsible for ensuring a seamless client experience and smooth execution to meet primary KPIs delivering results that are highly visible and critical to online and offline sales for the company. You'll be part of a high-performing Digital Marketing center of excellence, partnering with your teammates that run Push notifications, triggered & transactional Email, and other digital marketing channels.

In addition, you will:

  • Help define email campaign briefs by detailing cross-functional business objectives, creative direction, key content and segmentation strategies to inform & influence creative asset development.

  • Gather learnings, share insights & best practices with team and turn these into actions for future campaigns and tests.

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. Merchandising, Promotions, Brand Marketing) to ensure optimal client experience is achieved and priorities are clear & actioned on.

  • Manage essential documentation for email team across calendars, slotting, and campaign details.

  • Review all campaign creative to ensure business objectives and optimal client experience are met.

  • QA all campaigns to ensure accurate and error-free execution of links, segmentation, content and targeting rules.

  • Pull, consolidate and analyze learnings to drive engagement, sales and retention.

  • Keep a strong pulse on email & industry trends and innovation through competitive marketplace analysis.

  • Support & collaborate across Retention Marketing team on ad-hoc special projects and initiatives as needed with a positive can-do attitude.

  • 2+ years planning and developing email campaigns or similar marketing campaigns.

  • Analytical and data-driven with experience tracking performance and optimizing metrics to hit sales goals.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment, with the ability to deal with ambiguity at times

  • Self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Represent & lead channel POV with strong interpersonal skills; track record of the ability to develop & maintain cross functional relationships with business partners at all levels.

  • High attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Experience with Smartsheets, CrossCap preferred.

  • BA with a degree in Marketing or related field.
