The Assistant Manager - Customer Service Associate is responsible for creating the mouthwatering arrangements, dipped fruit boxes, and cut fruit for Edible treat products, following proper operational procedures. He or she also ensures Edible service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt service, delivering a WOW experience


Essential Job Functions and

Responsibilities:
  • Build arrangements according to our brand standards

  • Prepare a variety of arrangements according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures and proper portion sizes

  • Selects fruit for arrangements

  • Wash, peel and/or cut various fruit to prepare for arranging

  • Package arrangements or dipped fruit

  • Receive and store fruit supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators and other storage areas

  • Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning standards and works as a store team player; Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes

  • Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly

  • Remove trash and clean kitchen waste containers

  • Assist with receiving deliveries from vendors

  • Follows proper food sanitation and handling procedures

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of product knowledge and quality standards

  • Welcomes and connects with every customer to provide excellent customer service

  • Discovers customer needs and appropriately suggests products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals

  • Assists customers in the selection and purchase of Edible products

  • Uses effective sales approaches and displays strong knowledge of product line; Effectively converts customer inquiries into sales

  • Builds long-term relationships and builds the trust and loyalty of customers

  • Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner

  • Responds to customer needs; Manages difficult customer situations in a calm and professional manner

  • Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products

  • Follows cash handling and register policies

  • Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines

  • Takes responsibility to learn all aspects of the position

  • Learns and demonstrates creating the Edible Experience

  • Learns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing in-store training and utilizing digital training portal on an ongoing basis

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience working in customer Service or food service establishment preferred

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to sell and up-sell products

  • Good math and money handling skills

  • Positive attitude

  • Enjoys working within a team

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

  • Drive and determination

  • Desire for personal and professional growth

  • Valid state drivers license and a clean driving record (if also delivering)

  • Computer skills including Microsoft software and register skills

  • Ability to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift

The role will primarily be working with the Finance Operations team to: * <li> * Assist in analyzing the financial business processes & internal controls by liaising with the finance business users and project team to help document the 'as-is' environment * Learn how to use the NS2 Financial system product suite and about how the integration works across systems and applications to help look for areas of improvement/streamlining * Help to analyze system improvement priorities, on-going projects, budgets, and tracking costs as they relate to the system improvement initiatives * Help to develop & maintain a 5 year roadmap of system initiatives, related to the overall strategy, scalability, and financial objectives of SAP NS2 * Gather and document new business requirements and review project team's functional specifications to ensure that requirements are being met * Gather data to help with the evaluation of new financial tools, as needed * Troubleshoot user, business process, and system issues and help to overcome the challenges efficiently and timely * Track system defects and enhancements from prioritization to development to deployment * Test new financial system functionality with business users, including prototypes, and documenting the outcome, including documenting issues found * Create training materials for new functionality and incorporating that training into the Business Process documentation * Aid in rolling out new functionality to the business community and tracking usage, as needed * Document and advocate system support processes with the business users * Ad hoc financial work as required to help NS2 Finance meeting parent reporting requirements timely * Maintain master data between systems and learning how to do system data transfer to the parent, including tracking and resolving issues Education Requirements * Finance or Accounting major working towards a college degree or a recent college graduate * Must have advanced Excel skills to include knowledge of advanced macros, VLOOKUPS, and pivot tables * IT background is helpful * Experience with SAP preferred Mobility * 0-10% Travel WHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
