Job Summary:
Leading the slot performance team to achieve the department's goals and objectives in a timely and efficient manner including focus on guest relations and maximization of revenue opportunities. Responsible for creating an environment of fun and excitement on the floor where all guests feel comfortable and welcome. Responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily Slots Performance operations and ensuring that courteous and prompt service is provided by all employees.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Development, implementation and review of the slot product and processes, ensuring integrity and product reliability.
Effective analysis and reporting on slot product to maximize revenue and protect company assets.
Monitoring and maintaining the total logistic requirements of an effective slot repair operation, always anticipating the needs of today and the future.
Overseeing repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance on all associated slot equipment.
Coordinating slot movements, modifications, upgrades and installations with vendors, regulatory agencies and support areas.
Directly responsible for training supervisors in technical and leadership skills for functions within the Slots Performance Departments.
Is familiar with the federal currency transaction reporting guidelines and implements the same.
Oversees personnel assignments and reassigns personnel on floor based on business volume.
Is responsible for key control and documentation.
Builds a rapport and coordinates daily functions with support services departments, especially marketing. Coordinates with Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damage gaming equipment and to identify floor irregularities.
Ensures compliance with Mississippi State regulations by all members of the Performance team.
Monitoring customer satisfaction of slot product and making recommendation for change.
Leading department projects ensuring timely completion through effective communication with other departments and utilization of resources.
Promotes teamwork, monitor and supervise the daily Slot Performance floor operation; ensure that all employees through utilization of service skills to provide courteous and prompt service.
Ensures each Slot Performance employee is properly trained and that they are provided the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their job effectively.
Ensures timely, accurate evaluations and appropriate development plans and clear directives for direct reports and their respective Slot Technicians.
Maintains open communication and ensures fair treatment for all employees.
Establishes schedule and/or personal requests in a timely manner.
Presents oneself as a credit to Harrah Gulf Coast and encourages others to do the same.
Maintains and provides a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring area for underage gamblers.
Suggests players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa.
Suggests products, services and experiences to guests.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
Strong technical background and strong supervisory, leadership and communication skills essential.
Knowledge of Mississippi State regulations pertaining to Slots (preferred.)
Expertise in the repair of slot machines and equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude plus SDS and relevant computer skills required.
Energetic and positive driver service skills.
Must pass a drug test.
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Superior communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
Computer skills including operating hardware, software, and other technical equipment.
Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah's Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot machine cabinet for long periods of time.
Must be able to push and lift weights up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to see small objects in poorly lighted areas.
Must possess coordination and manual dexterity to work with power saws, etc.
Must be able to continuously maneuver around casino/hotel as needed.
Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor.
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to use and wear two-way radio w/ earpiece, and other equipment, as required.
Ability to tolerate a loud and noisy environment.
