THE JOB:

As the Assistant Manager of Quick Service, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our quick service dining outlets, ensuring a high standard of service, quality, and efficiency. You will support the Quick Service General Manager in leading the team, optimizing performance, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests. Coach and train staff on policies, procedures, and performance standards

• Supervise cashiers to ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to check closing procedures. Oversee daily operations to maintain compliance with Health Department regulations

• Communicate directly with the Chef regarding food service and menu issues

• Assist in implementing seasonal and holiday menu changes

• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing

• Exercise cost controls across all aspects of restaurant operations

• Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure accurate check processing

• Communicate directly with guests to accommodate special requests and manage large party reservations

A GREAT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Great organization skills

• 3+ Years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment

• Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Customer service skills in a food and beverage outlet

• Previous experience in a supervisory food and beverage role

• Previous experience in a coffee house environment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a similar dining environment
