The Assistant Manager will have a more direct line of communication with the Customer Service Manager as well as the Resort Director with regard to strategic planning, scheduling and performance tracking. In addition to the basic duties and responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative: Customer Service:

Will act as the first point of contact regarding escalations and customer inquiries Assure all guests are cared for in compliance with the company goals. Be familiar with budgets, revenue, and controllable expenses Health and safety of the workforce. Monitor/measure customer satisfaction.

Ensure staff is always in proper uniform. Well-organized and detail oriented. Must demonstrate a love for dogs.

Supervises all Front-End Staff Greets all customers coming into the building. Check In/Check Out procedures in the point-of-sale system. Accepts payment from customers.

Answers telephone inquiries. Opens/Closes building when necessary (key holder). Provides tours of the building to potential customers. Develops pet feeding/medication schedules.

Feeds/medicates dogs when necessary. Management and Communication Assist the Managers in the acquisition, training, development, instruction, reinforcement, education, evaluation and correction of employees. Maintain a strong resorts culture and lead by following Company Values and Mission Be open as a vessel of communication for your employees and drive a positive culture within the employment community.

Maintains employee schedules. Has the ability to complete any job requirement of any staff member except the owner. Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.

Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and feedback. High School Diploma, experience with caring for dogs is recommended, but not required. Some of your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Provide an outstanding first impression of our facility to our clients Provide the dogs staying with us with playtimes & water Cleaning accommodations, bathing dogs and entertaining and interacting with the dogs while supervising them in daycare and in their boarding accommodations Friendliness and being a team player with a flexible schedule is key. Exceeding our client's expectations An understanding of, and commitment to, organization, cleanliness, following directions and common sense are necessary Maintaining a sparkling clean facility Working as a team player.

Being able to make good decisions on the spot. Schedule : A typical schedule for this position includes working approximately 35-40 hours per week. At least 1 weekend day per week is mandatory.

Plan on working holidays, on a rotating basis, as this is our busiest time. As time goes on, Salary is dependent upon experience level.
