Assistant Manager Patient Access - Full Time Days

Job Description

Assists the Manager with the overall operations of the Patient Access Area. Supervises the duties of the Access Representatives and will work in the Access areas if needed.

Manages the department in the absence of the Patient Access Manager. Ensures smooth operation of registration areas including staffing, supplies and equipment. Maintains exemplary levels of customer service in all interactions as they relate to customer service. High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or Administration preferred. 5 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in Patient Access. 3 years of Revenue Cycle experience preferred.

Sedentary work performed in office setting. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
