The right candidate will maintain the physical space, and will be essential in providing framework and resources for our community of outdoor enthusiasts, leaders, and learners. Assistant Manager

• Outdoor Center Equipment and Rentals Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $23/hr

• Worksite: Leading University (Stanford, CA 94305

• Onsite)

• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 20 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment

Assistant Manager

• Outdoor Center Equipment and Rentals Responsibilities:

• Provides ongoing equipment cleaning, maintenance, and repair.

• Front line retail and rental customer service.

• Assists in the rental infrastructure, organization, and inventory control.

• Assist with gear outfitting for outdoor programs.

• Supervise students in the role of retail and rental operations.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Frequently required to lift, carry and move up to 40 lbs of supplies and equipment.

• Usage a computer for extended periods of time.

• Duties involve cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, center floor-maintenance).

Assistant Manager

• Outdoor Center Equipment and Rentals Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Affability and a desire to interact with customers.

• Exhibition of positive attitude, tact, sensitivity, and sound judgment to deal effectively with a diversity of staff, customer individuals and groups, vendors and contractors.

• Enthusiasm for the outdoors.

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with little supervision, and within a collaborative team.

• Knowledge of or strong willingness to learn outdoor equipment maintenance and repair.

• Strong interpersonal communication, organization and supervisory skills.

• Ability to move and be on your feet much of the day assisting customers and supervising students.

Shift:

• 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
