We are hiring for our stores located in Manhattan, Ogden, Chapman, Abilene and our NEW store opening in Junction City, KS. Please note, training for the Junction City store will occur at the Manhattan location until the new store opens.

Assistant Manager Retail Sales (Customer Service)

Our Store Staff is the face of the ALDI shopping experience, and our most valuable asset. Their hard work makes it possible to uphold our company strategy: to provide the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices. Their smiles and pleasant demeanor keeps customers coming back time and time again.

Our Assistant Managers play a crucial role in keeping the store running and creating a collaborative work environment. They assist the Store Managers and Manager Trainees in providing outstanding customer service and have the opportunity to manage the sales floor, train, supervise and support their store associates.

Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in maximizing sales, controlling expenses, and implementing action plans to improve operating results. Additionally, you will provide feedback and make recommendations on items to carry and those to be discontinued. It is a fast paced, hands- on role with a lot of responsibility.

We have important requirements for all potential ALDI employees. You must be able to communicate effectively with your fellow staff, while being open to new ideas.

The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, while being a team player, is essential. Excellent customer service skills and communication are a must, as well as a flexible schedule. We provide an extensive period of training that will give you the tools, skills, and confidence you need to excel at ALDI.

You must be able to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds. You must be at least 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior work experience in a retail environment and prior management experience is preferred. Are you up for the challenge?
