Under minimal guidance from the Sr. Manager, the Assistant Manager will be held accountable for the implementation, sourcing talent, negotiation, and execution of assigned in-store and digital social marketing initiatives. The Assistant Manager will utilize his/her marketing & creative production knowledge and analytical skills to lead their team of direct reports in the development of marketing plans that will help increase brand awareness, strengthen customer acquisitions, increase foot traffic, and drive sales.
Lead the strategy, development, implementation, and budgeting of regional in-store marketing projects for planned and reactive seasonal promotions, high profile and underperforming store activities, key retail events, collaboration launches, and ad hoc requests, by ensuring adherence to the promotional calendar, budget guidelines, and established KPI metrics
Review and evaluate Request for Proposal's (RFP's) from potential agencies to determine the most advantageous partners. Responsible for agency management including budgets, branding, creative requests, negotiations, sales drivers and vehicles for maximizing marketing exposure on the company's behalf
Provide sign-off on retail marketing budgets prior to executive approval by ensuring brand-alignment, budget parameters, and optimal ROI metrics are met
Collaborate with Data, Social, Ecommerce, Creative, Operations, Visuals, and Buying managers to strategize key product focuses, event timing, metric goals, sales expectations, and operational planning
Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of key marketing activities in terms of sales results, consumer response, foot traffic, and other KPI metrics. Provide executive management and key stakeholders with strategic feedback for improving future marketing efforts through detailed reports and event recaps.
Responsible for planning, strategizing, and maintaining the fiscal year calendar and making recommendations for new activities as key opportunities arise
Partner with Public Relations and Social Media teams to maximize exposure of all collections marketing event roll out through various channels including but not limited to, publicity, press releases, and social media coverage
