Assistant Manager, Fulfillment Exceptions

The Fulfillment Exceptions Team is a fast paced dynamic team who is responsible for resolving inbound receiving exceptions for the fulfillment centers. We work closely with our suppliers to expedite and resolve receiving issues to ensure our suppliers inventory is available for sale to our customers. We are always looking to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to eliminate exceptions as well as to shorten the exceptions' life cycle.

This person must sit at one of the following fulfillment centers: McDonough GA, Port Wentworth GA, Jacksonville FL, Erlanger KY or Romeoville IL.

What You'll Do

• This is a regional position. You will work with multiple fulfillment centers exceptions processing team

• You will be the subject matter expert for inbound exceptions processing and provide training and support across your region and the network

• Responsible to build and maintain varies queues and queries to be used by our team and the fulfillment center exceptions team in their day to day activities

• Conduct root cause analysis into the performance of the region to identify trends and patterns to improve the overall service level metrics

• Work closely and partner with other support groups to reduce exceptions at our fulfillment centers and build strong supplier relationships

• You will review weekly performance measurements of the fulfillment centers and provide feedback to leadership and action plans in order to meet our service level metrics

What You'll Need

• A degree-level qualification is highly preferable or relative work experience

• Passion for problem solving and analyzing data

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Adaptability to constant evolution of workload, processes and expectations

• Strong knowledge of Google Suite, Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
