Job Summary:# Provides leadership and assists with management departmental day to day operations consistent with corporate and departmental mission and values.

Completes and performs diversified technical duties including simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments in accordance with the prescription and as directed by the radiation oncologist

.# Participates in the coordination of care and ensures policies and procedures are consistent with standards.

Performs tasks requiring independent knowledge and judgment

.# Implements performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Holds current ARRT registration to practice as a Radiation Therapist. Associates in Applied Science in Radiation Therapy Technology.

At least three years experience as a therapist in radiation oncology

Through knowledge of various radiation oncology procedures

.# Considerable skill in planning and organizing work.# Ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, department heads, and families.

Considerable ability to coach and motivate people
