The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position's primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, "to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests." Additionally, AIT and Assistant Managers perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g. cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities). Work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates and provide leadership. The AIT and Assistant Manager will also share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as the Store Manager in their absence. The Assistant Manager Position is a progression from the AIT position and therefore includes additional high level duties that are specific to that position, though the majority of job duties and responsibilities are shared.

Sales Generation and Guest Service

Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest.

Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development

Develop skills and assist in leading, directing, motivating and educating new Teammates to meet and achieve Buckle's accountability, shift orientation, Loss Prevention and sales presentation standards on a daily basis.

Visual Merchandise Management

Own and influence product through zone ownership, exhibiting the ability to recognize and merchandise products and projects to Teammates daily with a specific learning goal in mind.


Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, all based upon store and business needs.

Establish relationships and excellent communication with Corporate Office Departments to assist Store Manager in effective operations of the store.

Supervisory and Leadership

Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs.

Coachable; consistently welcomes feedback from Manager to improve sales presentations.

Teammate Classifications

Full-time Teammates are those regularly scheduled to work 35 or more hours per week and are actively engaged in the business for a minimum of five (5) days per week on a regularly scheduled basis. Full-time Teammates may be eligible to participate in Buckle's full-time benefit programs. Many of the programs have a waiting period before the benefits become active.

Duties: * Assists clinic health care providers and Clinic Manager in providing direct patient care. * Assists with registration of clinic patients and completes clinic forms. * Gathers necessary vital signs from patients and completes office visit form for physician's review and patient file. * Correctly collects, prepares, and sends laboratory specimens for routine tests and records results under direct supervision of the provider. * Administers selected medication and treatments to patients as ordered, including injections and immunizations and instructs patients on proper follow-up procedures under the supervision of the provider. * Maintains the supply stock in exam rooms and lab areas and documents usage so supplies may be replenished. * Cleans examination tables between patients. * Anticipates provider's needs related to patient care. * Audits provider charts for completeness and signatures. * Sets up and cleans medical equipment and keeps red bags emptied and prepared for pickup. * Performs laboratory procedures provided by the center under direct supervision of the provider. * Keeps own work space clean and tidy, and, as a team member, assures cleanliness of common use areas. * Carries out the referral process for patients as requested. * Assists other NCHC team members, from all departments, when needed. * Participates in meetings as required. * Performs other duties as assigned. Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications: * Diploma of completion of education or training as a medical assistant or a related field recognized by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) AND certification or registration by exam. Medical Technician Qualifications: * Diploma of completion of education or training as a medical assistant or a related field recognized by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) AND certification or registration by exam within the first 90 days of employment.
