JOB SUMMARYSupervise the Guest Room Attendants (GRA) and Housemen and make sure that all departmental and company policies and procedures are followed.Make sure that all Guest Rooms are cleaned and safe to Circus Circus Reno standards.Call in repairs that the Hotel Guest Rooms, Hallways, Guest Elevators, Stairwells and Linen Room might need.Proper distribution of work assignment to the Guest Room Attendants and Housemen
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect at least 10 Guest Rooms daily
Inspect hallways, linen rooms, Guest elevators, stairwells and make sure they are always Clean and Safe
Issue Keys and Daily Assignment to the Guest Room Attendants
Issue disciplinary action to none supervisory employees when policies and procedures are not followed
Receive and account for every Keys and Assignment from the Guest Room Attendants at the end of every shift.
Update Guest Room status as the status of the Guest Rooms progresses
Make sure that every GRA does complete her daily work which is 16 points total.
Assign/schedule Guest Rooms to be shampooed on a daily basis.
Assign Pre-registered, VIP, Rush rooms to GRAs in a timely manner
Cover the Status Board Operators for breaks or when needed
Work as Status Board Operators when off or on vacation
Cover the Supervisor Housekeeping Office position when he/she is off or on vacation
Make sure that all the Employees are using the proper chemicals given to them. All chemical bottles properly labeled. Employees cannot bring their own chemicals to use clean Guest Rooms
Communicate all important information to all Housekeeping Employees
Make sure that all Health & Safety policies and procedures are being followed by all the Employees

Guest Room Attendants, Housemen and Shampoo Crew - approx. 30 employees daily
2 years Supervisory experience
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
Basic Math skills
Biohazard (OSHA) trained
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
