Position Summary:

The AHL Product is a position which will support company leadership in the execution of business strategies for our successful Food & Beverage concepts. This includes: supporting strategic research and development initiatives, recruiting and training of service staff, ordering and inventory support, providing world class customer service to internal and external guests while taking great care of the equipment and facilities. The responsibilities listed below are indicative of the nature of the position and can be modified due to organizational changes, new business developments, or expansion of the position.

KEY JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate and promote Our Values

  • Uphold beverage standards at location

  • Weekly beverage inventory of N/A, Alcohol, and dry goods for dining room and pantry supplies to support beverage operations

  • Updated inventory and pars to match business level

  • Confirm weekly orders meet costing standards

  • Maintain consistent Cost of Goods to meet standard monthly, quarterly, yearly

  • Ensure all beverage products are properly stocked and stored

  • Maintain menus updates for all beverage products

  • Responsible for the daily standards product pars

  • Support team members and leaders with product knowledge

  • Implement and maintain monthly N/A and alcoholic beverage training for the entire F&B team

  • Ensure all dining room and pantry team members meet or exceed beverage educational testing standards

  • Lead dining room and pantry beverage steps of service training

  • Able to provide and coach baristas to produce a perfectly poured beverages in a timely manner for all coffee, tea, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages on the F&B menu

  • Knowledgeable of all food and beverage offerings including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service; be able to explain all food and beverage items listed on the menu

  • Deliver first-class service to both internal and external guest

  • Anticipate guest needs, both internal & external

  • Answer guest questions with regards to F&B

  • Answer guest questions with regards to the Gallery and connect them with an associate to help with Gallery needs

  • Engage guests when appropriate to make them feel welcomed and "at home"

  • Ensure the pantry, common areas, dining area and overall gallery environment is presentable throughout the course of the day

  • Ensure the consistent integrity of the physical facility where food & beverages are served and stored

  • Monitor hospitality areas to ensure they are kept clean, safe and code compliant

  • Prepare server check out report and accurate tip outs

  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the Hospitality Leader

  • Lead, attend and participate at all scheduled meetings and trainings

  • Participate in teamwork and foster harmonious working climate

  • Give feedback on guest comments or complaints to the management

  • Report employee and guest accidents

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete Barista training

  • Oversee scheduling and organization of coffee trainings with Lead Barista

  • Administer all coffee testing and 6 month checkups with Barista Trainer

  • Responsible for issued Salido Leader card for support with comps/voids/discounts at the pantry

  • Accountable for implementation and maintenance of all beverage quality standards in the pantry and dining room

  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate product inventories within the pantry and dining room

REL ATED COMPETENCIES

  • Energetic, accountable and team oriented

  • Reliable, dependable and responsible

  • Ability to proactively find ways to maintain gallery cleanliness and efficiency

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude

  • Basic computer skills is a plus

  • Experience with Aloha or a similar POS system

  • Knowledgeable of coffee program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time

EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • At least 2-3 years of previous related experience

  • Basset Certified

  • ServSafe Food Handler Certified

  • Willing to learn new and exciting things

  • 21 years or older

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is full time.

  • Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to travel extensively, work weekends and holidays.

  • Occasional travel may be necessary
