About the opportunity:
You'll join us as the Assistant Global Controller focusing on our locations in the US, South America, China, Australia and India. In this role, you will be afforded the ability to affect transformative change on the global finance organization while working with all levels of the organization ranging from our CFO to early in career international talent.
You will drive change and improvement by focusing on operational excellence through a strong internal control culture. This role offers a sound foundation for future promotion by providing you with meaningful international exposure, visibility to the global organization and the opportunity to participate in highly visible initiatives while working with senior finance and operational leadership.
Your Day To Day Accountabilities Will Include:
Executing business balance sheet review program by partnering with site finance leadership and leading ad hoc teams to complete deliverables
Overseeing internal control and compliance at sites including consulting with local teams to support growth and improvement in their adoption of best practices
Analyzing often complex business transactions for appropriate accounting treatment and proposing paths to achieve desired business outcomes
Training and educating global finance and business resources as necessary and appropriate to ensure achievement of controllership goals and compliance with all requirements of US GAAP
Owning, managing and solving issues associated with key controllership metrics aimed at enhancing performance of the global organization through improved efficiency and effectiveness

Striving for excellence and meeting stretch goals motivates you. Your bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and CPA designation is required in this position. Your demonstrated success through at least 7 years of professional experience working in areas such as audit, controllership and FP&A is very valued. This position has opportunity for you to work with different cultures and travel all regions of the world up to 20% of your time.
