POSITION SUMMARY

This school-year internship position provides experiences and guidance in providing school psychological services. Experiences will provide an opportunity for supervised practice of a range of school psychological services consistent with the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) domains of School Psychology Training and Practice including, but not limited to, assessment and evaluation linked to intervention for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs; active participation in school-based problem-solving teams (e.g., multi-tiered systems of support [MTSS], child find); instructional consultation with teachers regarding student functioning, behavior analysis and intervention; individual and group counseling; and prevention. All duties to be performed in accordance with both federal law and state statute, Illinois State Board of Education policies and procedures, and Hinsdale Township High School District 86 Board policy.
