The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures.

This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.

  • Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred

  • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred

Supervise activities and assist employees as directed by manager. About Gold Coast: Located on-mountain and accessed by the Gold Coast Funitel, this recently remodeled building is home to 2 venues. The Arc is a cafeteria style outlet featuring specialty food stations ranging in distinctive soups, made-to-order salads, gourmet pizzas, grilled fare, and Asian cuisine. Funis Mountain Café is a convenient market which offers breakfast sandwiches, snacks, homemade soups, hot and cold sandwiches and pocket-ready desserts. ===================================================================== To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. 3. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact with others 4. Working knowledge of computers including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and POS system 5. Able to lead and direct employees and serve customers under intense conditions. Education and Experience: Required: 1. High School Diploma or GED 2. Three years experience in F&B operations, as well as knowledge of service standards, experience in a resort facility, high volume production operation related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 3. Two years management experience 4. Must have current drivers license and clean driving record. Preferred 1.
