We are looking for a professional Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to help oversee our outdoor bar and grill, Kokomos. Our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is a leader at Marriott Suites Clearwater Beach at Sand Key and enjoys leading with enthusiasm expressing a deep passion for the guest experience. We are looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to continue to elevate the pool deck experience for our guests while simultaneously taking care of our associates.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for helping to manage the day to day food and beverage operations of the pool deck delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to help forecast, plan and manage all food and beverage operations, staff and finances.

Responsibilities

• Helps to manage all food and beverage day-to-day operations on the pool deck within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
• Preserves excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Identifies customer's needs and responds proactively to concerns
• Helps to lead the food and beverage pool team by coaching, training and praising team members and facilitates department meetings to sustain morale and communication
• Helps to create schedules, manage payroll, conduct inventory, and ensure areas are meeting both productivity and financial goals
• Develops and implements suggestive selling programs and promotions
• Performs Manager on Duty activities as needed and works in collaboration with other department managers including banquets, fine dining, culinary and sales
• Ensures a safe and healthy environment for our team members and guests following all hotel policies and procedure
