Job Title: Assistant Field Engineer (E.I.T OR G.I.T)

Job Description

Join our established engineering firm with multiple offices across Kansas as an Assistant Field Engineer. We are seeking an entry-level graduate eager to assist in collecting and analyzing environmental samples. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering soil, rock, and other earth material samples from various test sites, accurately logging samples, ensuring drilling locations are precise, coordinating with utility services, analyzing environmental test data, and creating detailed reports of findings. You will engage in projects that vary from constructing coffee shops and large commercial parking lots to logistic centers, sports fields, school additions, and highway expansions. This role requires extensive local field work in Overland Park, KS, particularly during the spring and summer months, with work weeks averaging 50-60 hours. Overtime will be compensated.
