Job Description Summary

Responsible to assist in the management of a facility (or group of facilities) in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and the facility management agreement. This is a remote location and will require working from your home.

Job Description - Retail Assistant Facility Manager

ACCOUNTABILITIES

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Support Facility Managers in Day-to-Day operations and act in facilities manager capacity as needed.

  • Follow up on all delinquencies, under the direction of facility manager, utilizing C&W or client-directed policies.

  • Assist in preparing Prepare portions of the monthly financial and operational reports and/or annual budget.

  • Lead regular inspections of facilities with janitorial provider.

  • Participate in the performance oversight of all service contractors who perform contract services.

  • Help compile RFP's and work with vendors to complete facility related tasks.

  • Assemble monthly report summary of service contracts and certificates of insurance.

  • Oversee the maintenance of the work order and purchase order systems.

  • Ensure all facility files are prepared and maintained in orderly and logical manner including leases and contracts.

  • Under direction of the Facility Manager, respond promptly to requests from clients for building maintenance repairs, cleaning needs, etc.

  • Complete facility branch inspections that identify and repair facility related issues.

  • Collaborates closely with Mobile Engineers daily to share information and identify issues that need to be addressed.

  • Assists Facility Manager in communicating with retail branch staff regarding issues and outcomes.

  • Initiate Responses to after hour emergencies/events in a timely manner on a 24-hour basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1+ years of real estate property/facility or retail management or related experience

  • Or any similar combination of education and experience

  • Ability to pursue RPA or CPM professional designation(s)

  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

  • Excellent people skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Portrays confidence with both.

  • Demonstrates initiative and reflects a sense of urgency in daily duties by meeting or improving upon deadlines.

  • Good understanding of computer software programs including Excel, Word, and phone aps.

  • A valid driver license and vehicle to get between locations.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work from home.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer.

  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner.

  • Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work.

  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type.

  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing.

  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand.

  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, computer displays and physical inspection of properties and sites.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others and exchange accurate information; operate a computer and other office productivity machinery; move about the workplace; remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time; and extend hands and arms in any direction.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $36.25 - $36.25
