The incumbent is responsible for carrying out a wide range of administrative and some legal assistant duties for the General Counsel and staff attorneys. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities * Plans and coordinates Board hearings and meetings * Maintains the General Counsel's schedule and schedules meeting and conferences between Office of General Counsel (OGC) attorneys, Board members and the agency's technical and administrative staff. * Performs all duties in connection with travel such as planning itineraries ad preparing travel authorizations and vouchers. * Performs timekeeping duties for OGC employees; resolves timekeeping issues and conducts regular audits of time and attendance records. * Establishes and maintains OGC's automated and manual filing systems, including legal records, in accordance with Federal regulations and agency guidelines. * Types memoranda, correspondence, reports, recommendations, and other documents; ensures material is complete and grammatically correct. * Performs library and computer-based legal research * Assists OGC attorneys with processing Freedom of Information Act requests.
