Join this collaborative team focused on new construction and tenant improvement projects, specializing in commercial spaces like retail, restaurants, and medical facilities starting at $300k.

As the Assistant Estimator, you'll play a key role in the bid process, working closely with leadership and Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have 0-1+ years of experience estimating (change orders, take-offs, etc.).

Assistant Estimator Responsibilities:

• Gather proposals, site plans, specifications, and related documents to assist estimators.
• Conduct site walks to collect photos and site information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, site plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Prepare necessary documents for proposal submissions.
• Create quantity take-offs for materials on site plans.
• Maintain both internal and external communications with the estimating team.
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Prepare documents to request timeline schedules from other departments.
• Maintain a cost database by entering and updating data.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Assistant Estimator Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on information analysis and estimation.
• Strategic planning abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of informing others and providing exceptional customer service.
• Highly organized with proficient knowledge of office equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: $55,000 – 60,000 (DOE)
