West Elm is looking for an Assistant Web Producer with a passion for all things product data with a creative edge. This individual will work with various teams across the organization to ensure the timely and accurate set up of product assortment data and digital assets. The Assistant Web Producer should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, taking on multiple projects at any given time. This is NOT a merchandising/buying role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with merchandising, inventory and production teams to understand and build out seasonal product assortment data.

  • Manage multiple product assortments simultaneously.

  • Support promotions and site initiatives through weekly maintenance of existing product assortment (i.e. creating product pages, adding SKUs and imagery to product pages, etc).

  • Support in the preparation and organization of digital assets, including proof and edit product pages, ensure content meets formatting rules, and imagery + swatches are at the correct dimension/resolution.

  • Ability to cut and organize photo files and swatches in Photoshop as needed.

  • Support with non-product page image assets that will be featured on category/landing pages, in online shopping tools, etc.

  • Optimize customer experience by supporting new initiatives, triaging store + customer call center callouts.

  • Assist in troubleshooting any site issues related to product data, content management system, etc.

  • Support site management and merchandising teams with special projects, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • E-Commerce experience strongly preferred.

  • 1-2 years experience with content management systems (CMS)

  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Working knowledge in Adobe Photoshop

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.

This Art Director role helps drive the look and feel for our digital product photography. The proper design and art direction combined with the right content drives customer engagement with the brand. Visual content created from this role directly translates the brands business needs, ultimately driving revenue for the business. Core responsibilities: Operates with a solid grasp of brand's aesthetic. Collaborate with the Art Direction team, Digital Design team, Digital and Photo Merchant partners, and Post-Production teams in delivering the best photography for our ecommerce & digital channels and support key product initiatives for each season. Partner with Producers and Photographers to manage shoot crew in studio or on location and lead a shoot efficiently and effectively. Creatively manage shoot with internal team, production, and merchandise partners. Collaborate and clearly communicate with Stylist and Photographers to ensure concepts and brand vision are compelling & on brand. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications: You'll need a strong understanding of photo art direction and the ability to lead a team for all product photography needs on our website and digital platforms. You have a passion for design, interiors, art, and fashion with a high taste level.
