This position supports all of the Your First Year (YFY) programming and communication. The programs include SPEARS, SOAR, NAV1GATE, ConnectUp, First Finals Fest and YFY Basketball Night.

Communication responsibilities are First Year Connect, YFY texting and YFY social media. Retention initiatives collaboration and programming to support the first year cohort are a component as well as special program support for Science Everywhere and athletics co-branding. This position will also supervise a graduate assistant. Master's degree from a four year university or college in the area of higher education administration, college student personnel, student development, or related field 2 years post-masters experience creating, planning, implementing, and evaluating programming efforts for both large-scale and smaller targeted populations Ability to develop and implement presentations and workshops to diverse audiences Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team Experience supervising undergraduate or graduate students Basic knowledge of technologies, including word processing, excel, e-mail, PowerPoint and social media Be available and willing to work irregular office hours during certain times of the year
